Meditation
People come to meditation for many reasons. Some may feel the need to find a
deeper perspective on their lives; others may want to come to terms with stress
or be going through a personal crisis. In zazen, Serene Reflection Meditation,
we learn to sit still with an open and alert mind, accepting thoughts and
feelings that arise, without judging them. An important aspect of Soto Zen is
the integration of meditation into everything that we do. This mindful way of
living allows us to discover the compassion and wisdom which are at the heart of
our being.
